  • Session One - Free**:
    Introduction & Overview: This discussion will introduce the users to the benefits and additional modules of iGreentree and will demonstrate how to navigate the system.

    Manual Data Entry (Attachments): At the conclusion of this session, attendees will have the know-how to manually enter Applicants and Requisitions (inclusive of all Attachments), using Requisition Templates, Hiring Managers, and Sources/Expenses. In addition, attendees will also be able to extract data via a standard set of ReadyReports.

    **Session 1 is being offered free of charge to all customers who are current on Software Maintenance and Support (SMS).


  • Session Two:
    iHiring Manager: This discussion is targeting organizations with the iHiring Manager module. Set-up topics: Review of Hiring Manager records, req Filing Systems, req status codes and job codes (as they relate to Requisition Templates for Hiring Managers), req approval process letters, and the properties of HiringMgr Settings in Maintenance. Hiring Manager Req Entry topics: Logging in, Adding a Requisition, Viewing all Requisitions assigned to the logged Hiring Manager, and Requisitions Pending Approval. Recruiter topics: Finding reqs in approval process, reviewing and changing Hiring Manager’s entered data (attachments, approvers, and approval auditing), and posting of the requisition.


  • Session Three:
    Tracking Requisition Activity (Actions and History): This session teaches how to use the data that has been put into the system: review existing applicant pool, post to source, enter expense, on/off-hold, withdraw, fill, etc. For each action, a discussion of Requisition History that is retained will follow. Performing mass actions will also be covered.


  • Session Four:
    Tracking Applicant Activity (Actions and History): This session teaches how to use the data that has been put into the system: sending letters, routing resumes, setting up interviews, hiring applicants, logging applicants to requisitions, etc. For each action, a discussion of Applicant History that is retained will follow. Printing letters and performing mass actions will also be covered.


  • Session Five:
    QuickSearches and Search-Dependent Reports: This discussion will cover basic searching techniques including: the wild card feature, phonetic name searching, and other basic searching tips for all areas of iGreentree. In addition, the capability of the system to report on records meeting the defined set of criteria using Search-Dependent Reports will be discussed.

    AdvancedSearches: This discussion will demonstrate more complex and powerful searching techniques such as and/or/not and History searching. Includes instruction on creating parameter prompting searches, defining a Hot Item search, and saving searches.


  • Session Six:
    Greentree Administration: This discussion targets Greentree Administrators and their backups. Maintenance topics will include: Codes, Filing Systems, Doc Types, Dup Check, Letters, and System Settings. Mass Action topics will include: Moving to a New Filing System, Apply Template, and the Purging of Applicants and Requisitions. An application management discussion of basic administrative functions such as: creating internal procedural documentation, ensuring data integrity, and troubleshooting options.


  • Custom:
    Custom Training: This discussion will be outlined between a designated staff member and the assigned Greentree Trainer prior to the confirmation of date(s) to ensure an appropriate amount of time is allotted. This session is not to exceed three hours.
    Suggested Custom Training Topics:
    • Targeted Areas from standard six sessions: Various topics from any of the standard six sessions can be revisited as applied to the customer’s tailored system.
    • Sources and Expenses: This discussion will begin with a brief review of adding Sources and Expenses. The utilization of Attachments and performing of Actions such as sending letters and general expenses will also be covered. The Log to Source Applicant Action, and the Post to Source and Enter Expense Actions for a Requisition will also be addressed. Concluding with a review of Source History and where the data came from.
    • Applicant Self-Entry: The iGreentree user discussion will include a review of Applicant Self-Entry as it pertains to the customer’s system. Commonly included topics are: Short Form vs. Long Form, Internal vs. External applications, Self- Identification and electronic Acknowledgement. Adding a Requisition that meets the requirements for posting (ASE Skills, posting dates, status, job descriptions and qualifications, etc.). Applying to the created Requisition via ASE. Finding the Applicant in the database, reviewing populated information and stored application. The ASE maintenance discussion will be included.
    • Automated Resume Processing: This discussion will include Applicant Templates, Thesaurus, and Auto Response Letters. The information will then be used to set properties for the Resume Inboxes in Maintenance. Lastly, finding applicants entered via Automated Resume Processing and suggestions as to handling erred resumes will be provided.
    • Report Writing: Users will be able to connect to a SQL Database, modify and/or create reports using Crystal Reports. Topics that can be included: formatting, basic expressions, specifying criteria and prompting for parameters, changing a report from ReadyReport to Search-Dependent (and vice versa).
