MIDDLEBURY COLLEGE IMPLEMENTS IGREENTREE EMPLOYMENT SYSTEM

CAMPBELL, California – Greentree Systems today announced that Middlebury College of Middlebury, Vermont, has implemented the iGreentree Enterprise Employment System. The system, which is hosted by Greentree, is used in several departments at Middlebury and also at its affiliate, Monterey Institute of International Studies, in Monterey, California.

Middlebury College offers a wide variety of employment opportunities, and needed a system flexible enough to address them. Reports Dee Gilbert in the Human Resources department, "One of the biggest reasons we selected Greentree is their ability to configure and customize different career sites for different employment audiences. In conjunction with a highly-customized requisition form, this provides us a targeted and efficient process, saves our applicants time in applying, and saves our managers time in submitting requisition requests and reviewing applications on-line."

Working closely with Middlebury staff, Greentree created six different career sites, four for the Middlebury campus, and two for the Monterey campus, which has its own campus web site. Each applicant career site provides its own custom-tailored application form and related job postings. Posted openings include staff, faculty, student employment, summer positions, and opportunities for current employees. In addition, the Middlebury-Monterey Language Academy, which offers a unique summer program of language immersion for middle and high school students, has its own career site to support its unique employment needs.

All applications received from job applicants are automatically tracked within the main iGreentree Employment System which is used by Middlebury employment and administrative staff. Managers and search committee members in departments across both campuses can immediately view applications and related documents for their specific openings. On-line requisition approvals, querying and reporting, and automated correspondence round out the system's functionality and ROI.
