the center of CentraState Healthcare System is CentraState Medical Center – an
acute-care medical center licensed for 271 beds. The medical center became a
teaching hospital in 2005 with the launch of its Family Medicine Residency
Program in conjunction with the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New
Jersey-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Also in 2005, the hospital was
awarded Magnet designation for nursing excellence. In 2008, CentraState was

To meet the growth of CentraState
Healthcare System and its community, the employment department at CentraState
is constantly searching for top new talent to add to its 2500+ employee base.
Prior to installing the iGreentree Employment System, Human Resources saw an
opportunity to enhance recruiter productivity, allow better and more responsive
communication with job applicants and employees, and provide more robust and
timely reporting capability.
Responsiveness is key
Today, a 'rapid hire' recruiting model,
along with the implementation of iGreentree, is having a huge impact on the
success of CentraState's recruiting and staffing efforts.
"We have greatly enhanced our overall
responsiveness and quality of communication
with our job applicants and employees",
reports Jacqueline Piccolini, Director of Human Resources at CentraState.
"Our posting process is more efficient and
consistent, the screening questions help our recruitment staff focus on
qualified applicants, and our ability to track activities and get meaningful
reports has been greatly enhanced," states Piccolini.

Online application saves recruiter review time
iGreentree's online
application is formatted for quick and easy review by recruiters and hiring
managers, enabling quicker response time to applicants. Additionally,
applicants can subscribe to job alerts, enabling them to receive an email when
a position matching their criteria gets posted on the site.

Employees can apply from home
Today, CentraState
has separate access for current employees and outside job applicants. This
allows employees to complete an abbreviated version of the application, saving
them time when applying to transfer. Especially helpful for employees is that
they can view open positions and apply from home. Automating CentraState's
internal postings and transfer requests has been well received by employees who
appreciate the ease of use and being able to view the status of their
applications.
CentraState upgrades from 'Express' to
'Enterprise'
For quick startup
and rapid deployment, CentraState initially chose to implement the iGreentree
Express system using standard iGreentree forms and reports. Currently,
CentraState is upgrading to the latest release of the iGreentree Enterprise
system. This will enable CentraState to extend their system use by taking
advantage of iGreentree's ability to finely tune specific process areas through
an easy-to-implement forms tailoring and customization process, including a new
feature designed to further leverage CentraState's successful 'rapid hire'
recruiting model.
Working with Greentree
It is a team approach that works best
between Greentree and its clients. "Greentree's customer service is
fantastic," says Jose Lacomba, CentraState's HRIS Analyst. "They are easy to
work with, extremely responsive, very friendly and go that extra mile, whatever
it is we need," he continues. It was outstanding commitment to the customer,
attention to CentraState's needs, and ongoing communication that has propelled
the iGreentree system to its new level at CentraState. "It did not end with
implementation," adds Piccolini. "Greentree has provided continued support
throughout our journey with process improvement."
